CAATINGA! is a child led art and nature program that allows children to learn about and explore art through nature with a positive community of friends. When you pick up your child we hope that they are dirty, sweaty, smell like the fresh air and have a piece of art in their hands to show you.
CAATINGA! closely monitors The City Schools of Decatur and The CDC's website guidelines for operating with COVID-19. Until we are more certain on school opening, we are not accepting any additional students at this time.CAATINGA! is an art and nature after-school enrichment program that offers a safe, creative, nurturing environment with just the right amount of unstructured play mixed in! We have an outdoor play space and will spend as much time creating outside as possible. We also provide opportunities to reinforce and teach social skills and to encourage good citizenship.
Your child is invited to join us for 2 or more fun-filled days of art and nature:
5 days (Monday-Friday)
3 days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
2 days (Tuesday and Thursday)
CAATINGA! operates Monday-Friday from 2:30pm-6:00pm in accordance with the City Schools of Decatur schedule. For the 2020-2021 School Year CAATINGA! will provide transportation for children attending: Winnona Park, Oakhurst, Talley St. and Fifth Avenue
